Shop Policies
Most items listed on Home on Hartwood are a collection of handpicked and curated vintage homewares. All vintage items are secondhand, pre-loved pieces. As with most vintage items, they may have flaws, imperfections, and show signs of patina and use. I will make every effort to describe and photograph any wear and tear in the listings, but it is not always possible to display every single flaw. All measurements (dimensions and weights) are approximate. If you have any questions about a specific item, please feel free to contact homeonhartwood@gmail.com
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is not included in the price of the item. All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. If you place two separate orders in one drop, I am happy to ship all items from the drop together, so that shipping is only charged once. If this is the case, please email homeonhartwood@gmail.com
Once an order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.
Please allow 3-5 business days for orders to be shipped (weekends not included) plus added time for delivery. This time frame might be longer during busy seasons and holidays. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as I am a small one-woman shop.
Home on Hartwood is not responsible for shipping and delivery delays due to environmental, weather-related events and/or events outside of our control. If a package is lost upon delivery, we will do everything we can to provide assistance. However, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Shipping in US only.
If you are local, I am happy to provide free local delivery within a 3 mile radius. We can also arrange for local pick up at a public location that is within a 3 mile radius.
Packaging
We have given careful thought and consideration about the packaging of our products in order to minimize the cost and waste of resources. In an effort to prioritize sustainability, we will be reusing packaging materials. This means that, whenever possible, your item will be packaged with previously used and recycled materials that are in good condition (e.g. bubble wrap, packaging paper, newspapers, etc). This also means that your package will be shipped in previously used boxes (e.g. amazon boxes). Every item will be packaged securely to prevent damage in transit. Fragile items will be labeled ‘fragile’ on the outside of the box. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We are committed to packaging your item(s) with the utmost care, and we hope to make the experience of opening your package a special and personal one.
Returns and Refunds
All items are final sale. There will be no exchanges, returns, or refunds on any item.
If your item was damaged during shipping, please email homeonhartwood@gmail.com with a description of the damage along with pictures, as soon as the damage was noted.
